SCHOLARSHIP
The David "Wagga" Hunt Scholarship Foundation was established in 2009 to provide scholarships to deserving high school students of Kingston College and Calabar High School from Grades 8 to 13. To date, we have disbursed over 36 million JMD, in scholarships and school related expenses, in addition, we have provided personal computers to all our scholarship recipients.

Scholarship Criteria
Each Scholarship awardee must exhibit the following characteristics for selection:
A satisfactory record of academic performance
A satisfactory attendance record
Participation in extra-curricular activity (through clubs or societies)
Be a student whose parents/guardians are financially challenged to meet the expense of secondary education
Scholarship Benefits
From 2009 to 2022, each scholarship awardee received JMD $100,000 annually. In 2023, this amount increased to JMD $150,000 to further assist with school fees, uniforms, lunch, books, and other educational expenses. The scholarship covers Grades 8 through 13 (Upper Sixth Form) for each awardee, amounting to a total of JMD $900,000 per student over the scholarship period.
Initially, one student per school was awarded the scholarship each year, however in 2017 the program expanded to award two students per school annually.
